Texas 2x2 Voting...Winner Announced 3-23-18

K-2 students voted for their favorite Texas 2x2 book this week in the library and the book

2nd Grade Animal Projects 3-23-18

Mrs. Hunter's 2nd grade class has been hard at work on their animal research projects the last two weeks.  Their projects are now on display in the library!

Texas 2x2 Voting 3-21-18

All K-2 students are voting for their favorite Texas 2x2 selection for the 2017-2018 school year this week in the library.  Each year the Texas Library Association publishes a list of 20 books that are highly recommended for kids ages 2 years old to second grade.  These young ladies from Mr. Cavazos' second grade glass are excited to cast their vote!  Wonder which book will win.....

Reading Night 3-1-18

Reading night at Richter was a BIG success!  There were games, activities, stories and snacks.  The students had a lot of fun and learned some great ways to improve reading skills.

Author Visit 2-28-18

Children's book author Melissa M. Williams visited with Richter's 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students to discuss some of the books she has written and the writing process.  We just may have some future authors in our midst!
