Hair Love Compare and Contrast 2/28/2020

Kinder, first and second grade students were moved this week by Matthew Cherry's touching story Hair Love.  We first read the story and then watched the award winning short film.  Students were then asked to compare and contrast the two and did an amazing job.

Digital Learning Day 2/27/2020

Fifth grade students had a blast in the library on Digital Learning Day practicing their coding skills with SPRK+, Dash and Ozobots!

Fun with STEM 2/12/2020

It was loud, it was chaotic, but it was a lot of FUN!  Mrs. Hunter and Mrs. Madison's second graders had a blast visiting STEM stations in the library today.

Texas 2x2 Voting 2/5/2020

Mrs. LaChapelle's kindergarteners and Mrs. Madison's second graders were excited to visit the library today and cast their vote for their favorite Texas 2x2 Reading List selection for this year!
