Richter students had a blast today as they welcomed author and screen writer Michael Anthony Steele! They got to hear all about his life working in the entertainment industry, and writing for books, television and movies.

Fifth graders celebrated National Puzzle Day in the library today!
Texas Bluebonnet Award Voting 1/29/19
Mrs. Holcomb's class visited the library today and enjoyed a read aloud of Chef Roy Choi and the Street Food Remix by Jacqueline Briggs Martin and then had fun designing their own food truck. Finally, those students who read 5 or more of the nominees for 2018-2019 were able to cast their vote along with 3rd-6th grade students all across Texas for their favorite book!

Create Your Own Comic! 1-9-19
Our fourth graders LOVE graphic novels, so Mrs. Hebert's and Mrs. Laughlin's 4th grade classes enjoyed visiting the library this week where they created their own comic strips using the website Make Beliefs Comix!
