Texas Bluebonnet Award Introduction 10/17/19

For the last two weeks, our 3rd - 5th grade students have been learning about the Texas Bluebonnet Award Program and watching book trailers for this years nominees.  They are super excited to get started reading these highly recommended new selections so that they may have a chance to vote for their favorite at the end of January.

STEAM Centers 10/14/19

Miss Roy's kindergarteners, Mrs. Brown's first graders, and Mrs. Doolittle's second graders enjoyed visiting STEAM stations in the library today!  Look how creative our kids are!

Texas 2x2s and Dr. J's Video Read Aloud 10/10/19

Mrs. Lewis' first grade class visited the library today where they were introduced to the Texas 2x2 reading list for the 2019-2020 school year, and were treated to a video read aloud of one of the selections by our very own Superintendent Dr. Jessica Johnson!

It Pays to Behave in the Library 10/2/19

Mrs. LaChapelle's kindergarten friends were so well behaved in the library today, they had lots of extra time for puzzles, Gears, Legos and pleasure reading!
