Drawing with Scissors: QUEST Enrichment 9/14/18

First, second and third grade QUEST students met for their first enrichment session this week where they enjoyed the book Henri's Scissors and discussed the late works and style of artist Henri Matisse.  Students then created their own Matisse inspired works by "drawing with scissors".

I'm a Big Kid Now! 9/11/18

Mrs. Dale's third grade students are learning to be more self sufficient in the library by searching the online catalog and checking their own materials in and out!

Using Our Shelf Markers 9/11/18

Kinder, first and second grade students visited the library this week and practiced using their shelf markers properly.  We have to make sure all the books are returned to "their home" on the shelf!

First Visit to the Library! 8/30/18

Kindergarten (LaChapelle) and First grade (Lewis) students were excited to visit the library for the first time this year.  They learned all about book care and how to be responsible book borrowers with Mr. Wiggle!

3rd and 4th Graders First Visit of the Year 8/28/18

Third (Mrs. Dale) and Fourth (Mrs. Little) grade students visited the library for the first time this school year and participated in a scavenger hunt to learn about all the different areas of the library.
