TXLA Conference in Dallas, April 3-6

We apologize for the library being closed this week, but the DISD librarians have been in Dallas having a wonderful time learning new skills, about new products and technologies, meeting with authors, and of course rounding up lots of great items to bring back to the library!

Animal Research 3-28-18

2nd Grade Animal Projects 3-23-18

Mrs. Hunter's 2nd grade class has been hard at work on their animal research projects the last two weeks.  Their projects are now on display in the library!

Texas 2x2 Voting 3-21-18

All K-2 students are voting for their favorite Texas 2x2 selection for the 2017-2018 school year this week in the library.  Each year the Texas Library Association publishes a list of 20 books that are highly recommended for kids ages 2 years old to second grade.  These young ladies from Mr. Cavazos' second grade glass are excited to cast their vote!  Wonder which book will win.....
