The Richter Elementary Library was pleased to sponsor author Lynne Kelly's visit to present to 4th and 5th grade students on Thursday, January 9th. Ms. Kelly spoke to the students about her two published novels, Chained and Song for a Whale, what inspired her to write each of them, her research methods, and all about the writing and publishing process. She even gave them a little tease about her current project and invited them to email her with any further questions they may have. Ms. Kelly is a native Houstonian and former special education teacher, who now in addition to being an author, works as a sign language interpreter for people of all ages.
